Online
UAMS has partnered with Transact to offer multiple online payment options and payment plans. Your payment will be protected by top-of-the-line encryption protocols, and you’ll enjoy 24/7 online access – allowing you to manage tuition payments anytime, from anywhere. Payment options include debit/credit card, e-check (ACH) and international payments.
To make a payment using any of these methods:
- Log into Workday
- Select ‘Financial Hub’
- Click on ‘Make A Payment’, which will take you to the Transact portal.
- Complete the onscreen instructions to complete your payment.
Please contact the Bursar’s Office at studentfinancialservices@uams.edu or 501-686-6128 with questions or for assistance.
Credit and Debit Card Processing Tips:
- It is recommended to clear your cache before attempting to process a payment. While in your browser, press Ctrl + Shift + Delete simultaneously on the keyboard.
- As a protective measure to help limit fraud, your bank may have a daily spending limit or per-transaction limit policy. In order to prevent your payment from being declined, please contact your bank prior to making payment. Many banks will temporarily raise the threshold for a planned transaction.
- If you are having trouble processing the payment and do not receive payment confirmation, please allow 24 hours before attempting to process another transaction.
By Mail
If you pay by mail, please do not send cash. Make checks/money orders payable to UAMS. Write your Workday Student ID Number on all payments. If the name on the check is different from the student’s name, please write the student’s name on the check. Mail payments to:
UAMS
Student Financial Services, Slot 758
4301 West Markham
Little Rock, AR 72205
Your cancelled check will serve as your receipt. Checks must be for the exact amount of tuition and fees.
In Person
Please visit our office located in the ADMIN WEST, CHP 6A. You may submit cash, checks or certified funds; however, cash payments in excess of $100 will be directed to the Treasurer’s Office. If you are paying with check/money order, please be sure to write your Workday Student ID Number on all payments.
Payment Plans
UAMS has partnered with Transact to offer Payment Plans that allow you to pay tuition, fees and housing charges for the current semester in manageable monthly installments. Payment Plans are available during the fall and spring terms only with the exception of the Physician Assistant Program which starts in the summer term. Students with an account balance greater than $250 for the current term may be eligible to enroll in a Payment Plan. This includes any remaining balances after Financial Aid has been applied.
All past due charges must be paid in order to participate in a payment plan. A non-refundable $35 enrollment fee is due at the time of payment plan enrollment. A late payment plan fee of $10.00 will be charged each time an installment is not paid by the due date. Failure to pay two consecutive installments by the due date will result in an automatic termination from the payment plan and all charges become due as of the original due date.
The installment schedule is based on your current eligible charges but typically consists of 4 installments. Your installment amounts may increase or decrease as eligible charges are added or removed from your account.
Payment Plans are scheduled to open two weeks before the first day of classes and close 30 days after the first day of class. Please monitor your campus email for more information.
