Dr. Kathryn Neill explained the need for an ASG Officer/Rep to represent and attend the UASYS/UAMS oversight and monitoring committee meetings. As this is not just an UAMS only committee. This is the University of Arkansas Systems oversight and monitoring and impacts state laws and regulations.
The information is new to students and Dr. Neill explained how student input would be impactful when making decisions regarding the campus Artificial Intelligence in the class, test and student usage. Chimezie Nwadinigwe, agreed and gave an overview of how he understood Artificial Intelligence and how faculty students could benefit from use.
