• ASG Secretary Lakyn Webb will be leading the meeting today.
• The remaining ASG meetings for the Spring semester will be:

• Spring membership runs Jan. 1 – May 31, 2024.
• You can still join the student center and pay with cash or credit card payment
Mon-Friday 7-5, and must come to the office
Starting February 1st discounted rate for membership $40
New classes will be added in February
• New Year, New You –$40 for a 2-month workout plan
• Personal Training session special!
Purchase 5 or 8 personal training packages and receive two free training sessions.
Wendy McCloud Interprofessional Education
• Visit ipe.uams.edu for all questions concerning schedules, curriculum, and your college’s specific IPE framework.
• Students must be enrolled in the course in GUS before they can get access to course materials in Blackboard.
• The Office of Interprofessional Education works tirelessly to improve IPE experiences for students and reads every comment that students write.

• Virtual Chocolate Tasting – Feb. 16th
6-8 pm.
• Big Rock Mini Golf & Fun Park – Planned for March. A date will be released soon.
• Painting with a Twist – Planned for April. A date will be released soon.
In-person and virtual options available
• GradFest – March 14th,
11-2 pm – at the Student Center.
There will be free food and bags full of goodies!
• Intramurals update:
Basketball signups are open. Sign up on the UAMS Student App via the “forms”
section.
▪ Teams must include at least five players, and all players must be UAMS
students.
• A Single player can sign up as a free agent.
▪ Games will be on Sundays through the month of February from 1-6 pm at
Pulaski Heights Middle School
Doubles Tennis Tournament will be in March, more information to come!
Softball is planned for April, more information to come!

• Full-time and part-time students are required to verify adequate health insurance coverage twice each year (fall and spring). Students provide proof of coverage by entering insurance information into the UAMS online Student Health Insurance System
• A student may use their existing coverage or purchase through the school at
https://uams.myahpcare.com/ . Please note UAMS does not pay for student insurance.
• Student health insurance verification deadline is February 12th. Deans of each college will receive an email list of noncompliant students
