Libby Ingram Library Update
• Serving as interim director of the library
• All library resources and services are available online
• Education and research services librarians – they can help with papers and
research in person or online
• The library is planning to have 24/7 open access to the library starting in April
• Relaxation and small group space are being added in April
Calvin Webb Library Access Services
• 60 PCs are available for student use, and laptops are available to daily checkout in the Student Success Center
• Tech support is also available. Reach out to Calvin and submit a help ticket!

Charlotte Gass and Clinton Everheart: Graduation and Commencement
• UAMS Commencement is Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 3 pm, Barton Coliseum,
Little Rock, AR
Tickers are not required, it will be live streamed
Student regalia order deadline is March 31st. Regalia must be worn at
UAMS commencement and each college’s ceremony

payments due!

• UAMS Student Research Day is March 7th
• This is the first event since Covid-19, and there will 167 posters will be at the
event.

• Now is the time to start the 2023-2024 FASFA application
• Any unused aid can be returned within 180 days
• After you apply for graduation, you will receive a graduation fee, it must be paid before you graduate
• Late fee notices will start being sent out next week. Make sure you check your
GUS account
Clay Tyler Upcoming Events
• Grad Fest March 16th
, 11-1 pm, at the Student Center. There will be free food and bags full of goodies!
• Intramural Basketball Championship will be at Pulaski Middle School on February 26th from 1:00 – 6:00 pm
• March: Doubles tennis tournament, sign-ups will be up on the Student App 2/26
• April: Be on the lookout for more information about the softball league
• Free lunch will be at the Student Center in April

• @UAMS_CLSSS – please tell your classmates to follow and stay up to date!
• Pinspiration event: evening of March 31st
The event will be at a paint spatter room, and groups of 10 can go in at a
time
Elliot Gilmartin- 2023-2024 COPH Student President 15 min.
• Increase the Student App utilization by allowing all university programming to send information and allow it to be posted
• Possibly having a student representative meeting twice a semester to help with information sharing
