- If you are in crisis and need to be seen emergently, you will be seen the as soon as possible. Please let us know if your situation is urgent.
For Students Who Prefer to Connect Anonymously
Picking up the phone, emailing or walking into the Student Wellness Program can feel daunting. If you need another way to connect, try our web-based Interactive Screening Program (ISP) to connect with a clinician anonymously.
The ISP is offered in partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). You will create a unique username and password, fill out some assessments, describe your problem in as much detail as you like, and one of our mental health providers will get back to you within one business day. If mental health support feels like its right for you, the clinician can schedule you for a non-anonymous intake appointment.
If you are simply looking for a way to connect with us digitally, just email studentwellness@uams.edu. That will save you a few steps.
