- Please note that you should make the appointment; someone else cannot do it for you unless it is an emergency
- One of our therapists will do the intake interview. The therapist will refer the student to the psychiatrist if it is clinically warranted
- We provide all services via a secure televideo link or an in person visit
- If you are in crisis and need to be seen emergently, you will be seen the same day and the doctor will be notified
For Students Not Located at the Little Rock Campus
- For those students on the UAMS Northwest campus, the UAMS NWA Wellness Program provides free counseling, therapy, psychiatric evaluation, and medication management services in a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment to actively enrolled UAMS residents and students. - Due to licensing laws, we are unable to provide services to students located outside of Arkansas. Please see our tips for finding a local community resource.
For Students Who Are Being Seen For The First Time
- Before your first visit, you will receive an email to complete and submit your admission forms. If you are unable to complete the forms before your visit, please arrive 30 minutes early for your appointment so you can fill out the forms at that time.
